About DegreeBridge

DegreeBridge helps Florida students and families understand how high school credits actually apply to college degrees.

With AP, AICE, IB, CLEP, and Dual Enrollment options available, many students enter college with credits already completed. The challenge is that every college — and every major — applies those credits differently.

DegreeBridge was built to bring clarity to that process so families can make smarter decisions about high school classes, college credits, and the true cost of college.

About Will Tucker

Founder of DegreeBridge · 7 Years Inside Florida Higher Education

I've spent the past seven years working inside Florida higher education while coaching college athletics.

During that time I've also held roles in academic advising, admissions, the transfer office, and academic administration. These experiences gave me a front-row seat to how college credits are evaluated, how degree requirements work, and how decisions are made inside universities.

Over the years I've worked with thousands of students, each with a different academic path and set of circumstances. Through those experiences I've learned how Florida's system actually works — from accelerated high school credits to transfer rules to degree requirements.

DegreeBridge was created to help Florida families navigate that system with clarity and confidence.

What DegreeBridge Helps Students Do

  • Understand exactly how AP, AICE, IB, CLEP, and Dual Enrollment credits apply to college
  • Avoid repeating classes they already completed in high school
  • Identify thousands of dollars in potential tuition savings
  • Plan smarter high school class schedules that open doors for future opportunities
  • Build strategies to graduate college earlier or complete an AA in high school
  • Make college nearly free through intentional academic advising

The Goal of DegreeBridge

The goal of DegreeBridge is simple:

Give Florida students and families clear information so they can make smarter decisions about college.

When students understand how their credits apply early, they can save time, reduce costs, and build a clearer path through college.
